Polystyrene cement is required for constructing most plastics kits as they are usually made from polystyrene. Tube cements normally contain a filler which bonds to both parts, helps fill the joint and can give added strength.
Liquid cement contains no filler, the solvent dissolving the surface of the parts in contact and welding them together. It usually applied with a brush, with the parts to be joined in loose contact and a drop of glue to the seam. Capillary action takes the glue into the joint and with gentle pressure a good clean joint can be achieved. It will run under finger tips - avoid at all costs.

Finding a glue for many plastics is a difficult task. Plastic Weld offers a good chance
of being able to make that difficult repair! Apply with a brush.
Unite the parts to be glued, apply Plastic Weld sparingly, allowing capilary action to spread the liquid through the joint. Hold together firmly while the liquid dissolves and unites the surfaces.
Avoid getting surplus glue onto the surface and don't touch such surfaces. The glue would be harmful if swallowed or inhaled so it should only be used by responsible persons.
