Polystyrene cement is required for constructing most plastics kits as they are usually made from polystyrene. Tube cements normally contain a filler which bonds to both parts, helps fill the joint and can give added strength. Liquid cement contains no filler and is usually applied with a brush, the solvent dissolves the surface of the parts in contact and welds them together.
We recommend the Revell Contacta or Humbrol Precision cements for most plastic kits as the fine applicator tube allows very good control over where the glue is applied, plus the main body stands upright, helping to avoid accidental leakage or spillage.

For joining Styrene, Butyrate, ABS & Acrylic (Lucite or Plexiglas). If you have a broken toy, Proweld has a good chance of providing a repair.

1. Mate surfaces to be joined. 2. Apply Proweld sparingly to the joint. 3. Capillary action will spread Proweld throughout the joint. 4 Hold together for 10 seconds.
