Wirral 1/1200 M32 Brisbane Star, Blue Star Line, 1936

A 1/1200 scale waterline model of Brisbane Star, a Blue Star fast freighter from 1936. This model was expertly assembled and painted by Les Hodder of Wirral Miniature Ships from a superb resin casting by Len Jordan.
Brisbane Star was one of a series of fast cargo vessels built by Blue Star before the outbreak of WW2. During the war they could sail alone or in fast convoys and were much in demand.
