Revell 1/9 Ducati Monster S4 Motorbike (07923)
Since 2001 the Ducati Monster S4 has been one of the top unfaired motor cycles available. From the engine point of view, it is not just an offshoot of the successful Monster range, but a completely new project. On this naked bike with its attractive, very technically effective appearance, carbon fibre has been used to reduce the weight, including of the mudguards and the cog belt cover. This power bike is driven by a powerful 916 Desmoquattro engine, the 996, which is distinguished by its excellent high-revving capability, offering a noteworthy flexibility and performance that are unequalled in this range. The twin-cylinder engine delivers 101 bhp and accelerates the S4 from 0 to 100 kph in 3.1 and from 0 to 200 kph in 11.4 seconds. The top speed is stated to be about 240 kph. At the same time the machine has a good, safe Brembo braking system. A rigid chassis provides it with simple handling and the stability that guarantees excellent road-holding and, above all, outstanding cornering. However the decisive factor is a perfect design, characterized by its attractive styling, powerful engine, remarkable sound and expensive chassis. The performance of this first water-cooled Monster makes the S4 the most powerful offspring of the Monster family.
