Flexible track lets you decide how broad or sharp your curves need to be. The points provide a choice of radii larger then the fixed sectional track, allowing you to build a more realistic junction in a limited space. Insulated Insulfrog points have electrical switching built in and are advised for new modellers. Electrofrog points eliminate insulation gaps, providing better running, particularly at slow speeds, but require extra rail insulation to prevent short circuits (a guidance leaflet is supplied).

Peco Streamline code 100 track with nickel silver rail provides excellent durability and electrical conductivity. SL102 features a flexible moulded sleeper base respresenting the concrete sleepers used on most mainline routes.

Sold in 1 yard (914mm) lengths. Flexitrack can be curved to suit your requirements and cut to the lengths needed for your layout. Useful track laying tools include Tracksetta curve templates to maintain a smooth and constant radius and Xuron track cutters, designed to cleanly cut the rail to the required lengths.

Concrete sleepers were first successfully trialled during the 1930s. WW2 interupted further development, however the introduction of the pre-stressed steel reinforced concrete sleeper in the 1960s led to the widespread application of these sleepers on mainline routes.
