Solid, turned  metal barrel and wooden carriage, shown on wooden base and with two gunner figures.

The first known black powder ordnance. Cannon balls hadn't been invented and it was natural to fire an arrow with packing around the shaft to fit the bore. This a nice little model in polished brass and wood and is complete with a wooden based perspex display case.

A fantastic model of this gigantic piece of artillery, which is depicted with hoists and gantries. The barrel length alone is 95cm (over 3'). A one off made almost entirely from brass and steel on a wooden base. Finished in grey. Made by Mr. Maurice Dollin about 10 years ago.

Wimsical and very fun model depicting an Afghan fighter mounted on a camel sporting a gatling gun (scratchbuilt from brass). A wry reflection on Afghan wars.

One off wooden & metal model, made in the 1980's, of an early English horse drawn artillery piece - introduced by Congreve as an attempt to keep artillery up with the infantry. Gunners still had to walk until the introduction of the the limber, on which they could ride.

With hand made leather harness work on the horse and mounted on a wooden base, this is a very nice and totally unique model.

Massive and superbly constructed model of this famous German howitzer.

Mounted on a wooden base, overall length including base is 25 3/4, width 14, height 15 1/2 (654mm x 357mm x 394mm)

The five years of the American Civil War led to considerable experimentation with ordnance and artillery. In 1844 the work of one man, Lieut. Thomas Jefferson Rodman, aimed to overcome the difficulties of casting large cannon and this led to the eventual production of 286 massive 15" cannons. Their sheer size and weight resulted in their use as fortress guns.

A superb and unique brass model on a wooden base and measuring 24" x 92 x 10 1/4" high ( 60cm x 23cm x 26cm).

Although labelled as being of 16" bore this is probably an error as 15" was more typical.

Wonderful model comprising gun and limber towed by two elephants. Elephants and figures ex WBritain. Would fit well with any WBritain collection but is a total one off and hence unique. As they say, Must be seen! Complete with wooden based perspex display case.
