There are three distinct styles to WBritains Zulu collection; Rorkes Drift, based on the famous action. The Zulu War Osprey Series is inspired by the wonderful art of Angus McBride, featured in Osprey's Men at Arms Zulu War title while the Zulu War Gloss collection is in keeping with popular Redcoats range. W. Britain, William Britain or simply Britains have been producing toy soldiers and military miniatures since 1893 with attention to detail, quality and authenticity. Each 1/32nd scale (54mm / 2.25" tall) figure is cast from metal and hand-painted to a high standard in a style to suit the period.

WBritain 1/32 Zulu Umbonambi Regiment Advancing #1 (20001)
After the victory at Isandlwana, several regiments of the Zulu army which had missed the
battle had moved on to attack Rorke's Drift. The garrison stationed there, under
Lieutenants John Chard and Gonville Bromhead, numbered about 80 men of the 24th regiment,
and they had in the hospital there between 30 and 40 men. Late in the afternoon they were
attacked by about 4000 Zulu. On six occasions, the Zulu got within the entrenchments, to be
driven back each time at bayonet point. At dawn the Zulu withdrew, leaving 350 of their men
dead and 500 wounded who were later killed by the British
