Version 3.This new tooling models the class in it's final form with boiler tank removed replaced with a air cylinder cradle, cab fronts have also been modified.

Powered by the weighty Heljan chassis and equiped with flywheel drive to all four axles. Heljan locomotives run smoothly and deliver plenty of power for hauling trains.

The real 26 038 is preserved, believed to be currently at Cardiff Canton shed where restoration is progressing in the care of a company providing maintenance services to national network operators.

Hornby OO BR Class 31 296 A1A-A1A Diesel Locomotive Railfreight Construction Livery (R2753)

Hornby have made an excellent model of the Brush class 31, with many options available from the new tooling. This allows many variations between members of the class to be recreated. Drive to all axles  is supplied by a 5-pole skew wound motor mounted centrally in a heavy diecast chassis.

31 296 is presented in the Railfreight triple grey livery, complete with construction sub-sector markings. This model is DCC ready and can also be supplied with a DCC decoder fitted.

Heljan OO Railfreight Class 33 204 Hastings Gauge Triple-Grey Mainline Branding (3333)

The class 33/2 consisted of a group of 12 class 33 locomotives which had been built with specially narrow bodyshells which allowed the locomotives to operate over the Hastings route, where several tunnels were smaller than the BR standard loading gauge.

Heljan have made an accurate and detailed model of these locomotives. Equiped with a heavy chassis the centrally mounted motor with flywheels provides excellent performance. 33 204 is modelled in the Railfreight triple grey livery with the brand markings of pre-privatisation freight company Mainline.

Hornby OO BR Class 56 032 Sir de Morgannwg/County of South Glamorgan Railfreight Metals Sector (R2752)

Hornby have produced an excellent new model of the BR class 56 locomotives, complete with highly detailed bodyshells and six-axle drive from a centrally placed motor.
This model of 56032 named Sir de Morgannwg/County of South Glamorgan is painted in the BR Railfreight triple grey livery with metals sector markings. These locomotives were often seen in South Wales hauling steel trains.

The model is DCC ready and will also be available with a DCC decoder fitted.

Hornby OO BR Class 56 128 West Burton Power Station Railfreight Coal Triple Grey (R2647)

Completely new tooling for the class 56!

Hornby really have brought the class 56 up to current standards of detail with this new model. A smooth running mechanism and heavy chassis provides plenty of train-pulling power, just like the real locomotive!  The bodyshell features see-thorugh roof fan grilles with cooling fans beneath and the detail differences between batches and builders have been incorportaed into the new tooling.

56 128 is one a Crewe-built locomotive, presented in the BR Railfreight Coal sector livery. This model is supplied for DC control, with a DCC decoder socket.

Heljan OO Mainline Freight 58 009 Triple Grey Livery (5806)

A new model joining the excellent Heljan 58 stable.

This model of 58 009 is painted in the Railfreight triple grey livery with the rolling wheels logos of shadow franchise operator Mainline Freight. A particularly attractive addition to the 58's bodyside doors. The side grilles have been picked out with black paint, making them stand out clearly against the grey paint shades, providing a realistic appearance.

Dapol OO BR InterCity 73102 Airtour Suisse Class 73 Electro-Diesel Locomoitve InterCity Livery (4D010001)

Model announced 2012.

A new and highly detailed model of the BR class 73 electro-diesel locomotive.
Theses locomotives were built as electric locomotives for the Southern region 750v DC third rail system and fitted with a low-power diesel engine to propel the locomotive away from the electric rail. Especially useful for goods and parcels services. Several class 73 locomotives were used to power the Gatwick Express airport services for many years.

Bachmann OO Class 108 2 Car DMU Network South East (32-901)

An excellent model of the Derby built class 108 diesel multiple unit. Bachmann have managed to fit a flywheel into the bodyshell, providing drive to one bogie, but with ample power for hauling an extra parcels van if required.

Among the last designs of mechanical diesel unit, the experience gained from earlier designs was incorporated, resulting in a rugged and reliable trains. Network South East served the areas around London and the home counties, with many commuter routes providing employment for these units in the 1980's and 90's

Bachmann OO BR Class 150/2 2 Car DMU Regional Railways Sprinter (32-936)

The second batch of the class 150 units incorporated corridor connections into the cab ends, enabling through communication when units were coupled together. Power operated sliding doors replaced slam doors, allowing a wider door opening and quicker passenger boarding.

A highly detailed model of BR InterCity locomotive 47834 Fire Fly, one of the trio of locomotives maintained for Royal Train service during the early 1990s.

The Bachmann class 47 model features a detailed bodyshell and carefully designed tooling which allows the different cab ends and fittings found on class 47 locomotives to be recreated. Inside is a heavy diecast chassis and powerful motor with drive to both bogies.

Western region based 47834 was named Fire Fly during the GWR 150 celebrations in 1985, while numbered 47609. The name dates back to the early years of the Great Western Railway and a class of broad gauge locomotives designed by Sir Daniel Gooch. Unusually the name plate is in two sections.
The locomotive is modelled in early 1990s condition while working as part of the InterCity cross country fleet and carries the popular Swallow livery.
