An excellent budget-priced N gauge starter train set

Featuring one of the popular BR class 14 0-6-0 diesel hydraulic locomotives in the livery of the National Coal Board this set provides a short train of three 16-ton mineral wagons with internal user markings. Ideal for recreating the long colliery branchlines from the 1960s and 70s when coal was often moved from several pits to a centralised washing plant.

The train set is completed with an oval of track and a 12-volt speed controller powered from a UK mains plug-type transformer.
Track is fully compatible with the Peco Setrack range, allowing you to add points and sidings.

This N gauge train set track bundle contains a Peco ST300 starter track pack and a Bachmann 36-560 DC train controller. Just select a locomotive, plus coaches and wagons from our extensive stock for a unique train set!

The track supplied in the starter pack includes two points and can be assembled in many different ways to form an oval of track with a loop or sidings. A Peco Setrack Planbook is provided, full of layout plan ideas.

This bundle can also be used as an add-on to a train set, careful arrangement of the extra track using a straight section to make the loop wider and you can add an outer oval, with the extra control unit needed to operate a second train.
