This kit represent the world first steam locomotive. Designed to operate with smooth metal wheels on smooth rails, although there were scalloped flanges on the rails to guide machine. It was capable of speeds up to five miles per hour and could 70 men, 20 tons of iron and five cars over a distance of 9 1/2 miles.
