A non-powered kit to build a 6-wheel Sentinel diesel shunting locomotive. The kit includes detailed outside franes with the complex axlebox strengthing and cab glazing units. This is a static model and is supplied with plastic wheels, axles and side rods, motorising should be possible with suitable replacements.
These locomotives were popular with many industrial operators and incorporated many  safety features, including recessed end steps so shunters were protected while riding. These features have ensured that the Sentinel is still used today for industry shunting and by many preserved railways, making this kit ideal for a static 'standby' locomotive.
