It is reputed to be the loveliest sea voyage in the world - the journey by Hurtigruten ship between the Hanseatic town of Bergen and Kirkenes, the remote spot near the Russian frontier. Since 1893 the famed mail ships have provided a daily service along the impressive fjord coast of Norway. Since 2002, the MS Trollfjord, a passenger and Ro-Ro ship has been part of the Hurtigruten fleet. She is called after the Trollfjord a branch of the Raftsund. The ship offers accommodation for 823 passengers and 45 vehicles.
