Ready to assemble precision model kit.The fuselage of the Thunderjet is engraved with realistic surface details like plate seams and bolt heads.Realistic gauges and flight control equipment fill the cockpit.An accurately reproduced landing gear system has a high level of detail.Underwing accessories include bombs and large external fuel cells.Engine assembly is buried in the fuselage and is laden with detail.Clear canopy may be modelled in an open or closed position.Detailed pictorial instructions.

Glue and paints are required to assemble and complete the model (not included)

The F-84 was the first practical jet designed and produced by Republic. The Thunderjet was designed to serve as an interceptor near the end of WWII. In September of 1946 a prototype of the F-84 set a new airspeed record at 978kmh. The G-type was introduced in 1952 during the Korean conflict and was matched by the formidable MiG. The F-84 still served well in ground attack situations
