Dapol OO GWR 20-ton Steel Open Coal Wagon (B712)

The GWR used 20-ton open weagons for locomotive coal from the early 20th century. In the 1930s many more were built and the GWR promoted the use of these wagons widely with collieries, large consumers and? coal traders.

This model is painted in the GWR's dark grey goods livery with the small GW lettering in the bottom left corner. This lettering scheme was introduced in the mid-1930's.
