Painted in the BR Western region chocolate and cream livery this is a model of the corridor brake composite coach. These coaches contained compartments forfirst and second class passengers, along with a guards office and small luggage space.
BCK vehicles were often used as through coaches, allowing an express train to bedivided and serve several final destinations. The BCK provided all of the necessary accomodation for passengers and guard in one coach, ideal for adding a direct service to London from a branch line.
