more | Dragon (Plastics) 1/72 AAV-7 Iraq 2003 W/Eaak (7233)
Often affectionately referred to as the “Tuna Boat”, the AAV7A1 is an amphibious vehicle that is equally at home on land as it is in swimming through the surf on a beach. However, in its “natural” state, the all-welded aluminum hull of the AAV7A1 is vulnerable to small arms and RPG fire, as well as artillery or mine blasts. For this reason the EAAK (Enhanced Appliqué Armor Kit) was designed and fitted to vehicles operated by the USMC. The EAAK has a distinctive shape with its corrugated profile, and for the first time, it has also been fitted to a 1/72 kit.
This new item has a significant number of upgraded parts including the new tooled EAAK on both hull sides, new storage rack and photo-etched parts.

more | Dragon (Plastics) 1/72 Russian T34/85 Mod 1943 Tank Model (7277) One problem with early T-34 tanks was the inadequate protection given to commanders in their turrets. They had to open their large, unwieldy hatches and look over or around them in order to gain situational awareness. Obviously, this exposed them to a great deal of peril on the battlefield. The T-34/76 Mod. 1943 tank provided the commander with a cupola for the first time, offering the commander all-round vision from within the safety of his turret.
more | Dragon (Plastics) 1/72 Challenger 2 w Dozer Blade Tank Model (7285) This Challenger 2 stands out because it also includes a newly tooled dozer blade, an item of equipment that original vehicles use for obstacle clearance or preparing firing positions. The dozer blade is nicely detailed and adds an air of uniqueness to this 1/72 scale kit. A generous fret of photo-etched parts provides an extra level of detail, as is exemplified in the engine deck mesh. The kit contents and decals allow a Challenger 2 serving in Kosovo with KFOR to be built. This miniature vehicle builds up into an accurate model with easy-to-assemble plastic-molded components, many of which were produced by slide molds (e.g. the turret and complete lower hull). more..

Weighing 25.8 tons, the Late Version of Germany’s Jagdpanzer packed a lethal punch with its 7.5cm PaK42 L/70 gun. It was designed exclusively as a tank hunter, and its low profile and powerful armament ensured it was successful in this role. The Late model had two steel-rimmed wheels at the first two wheel stations, because of the failure of earlier rubber-tired wheels due to the increased weight of extra armor.
This kit includes all of the modifications associated with the L/70 Command Version including the correct antenna mount, photo-etched star antenna and even a wire antenna rod!
