It is easy to forget that Dragon take great care to out many variants of these highly detailed model kits, each accurate to specific actions or times. This ensures excellent historical accuracy and the kits also include fine etched detailing parts, turned aluminium gun barrels and many optional parts to enhance the prototype variations.

Dragon (Plastics) 1/35 SDkfz.166 Sturmpanzer 1V Brummbar Self propelled gun kit (6460)


Dragon's "2 in 1" kit of the Brummbar represents a mid-production vehicle, and can be built as either a standard version or a command version with star antenna. This is a "Smart Kit," featuring the highest level of detail with the least amount of hassle. The kit features a highly detailed 150mm gun with rifling, and very basic fighting compartment detail (such as a floor with the correct texture). All hatches can be assembled open or closed. The running gear is all-new for this Brummbar, and includes two options for the idler wheels. Other newly tooled Brummbar-specific parts are included. The schurtzen side skirts are made of scale-thin metal, and can be added or removed individually, even after assembly. Tracks are provided as Dragon's "Magic Trak" indy links, are newly tooled, and are all cleaned up and ready for assembly (glue required). Also includes a fret of photo-etched metal detail parts, wire for the tow cables, clear parts, and Cartograf decals for three versions. No zimmerit included on this model.

Glue and paints are required to assemble and complete the model (not included)
