The 1,250bhp Sulzer powered class 25s were found all over the British Rail network from the 1960's until the mid-1980's. Their small size and low power fit well with the short trains many modellers run, now sound will bring even more interest and realism to small layouts. The centrally mounted motor and smooth drive mechanism with flywheels provide excellent slow running performance and train hauling capacity. 25095 is one of the locomotives with the revised bodyshell, eliminating the draughty front doors and moving the air intakes to the cantrail, keeping out the dirt which entered through the previous bodyside grilles.

Supplied complete with a factory DCC decoder and digital sound system this model brings you the full Deltic experience!

An excellent model of the Collett designed 0-6-0 goods engine ofd the 1930s. These locomotives, often referred to as Baby Castles due to ther family resemblence to the Collett passenger engines were intended to replace the Dean design Standard Goods 0-6-0 of the 1900s. A useful mixed-traffic design, able to handle passenger and goods trains economically the Collett Goods was the largest engine operated on many branchlines.

A superb and finely detailed model of the LMS railway's workhorse, the 3F 'Jinty' shunting engine. A new version of the ex-GWR 56XX 0-6-2 tank engine with a factory fitted DCC decoder, ready to enter service on your DCC layout!

These powerful tank engines were based on designed used in South Wales, but spread across the entire GWR network, competently hauling local passenger and good trains.

The first of the British DCC On Board locomotives expected in August.

One of the GWR's modern shunting pannier tanks of the later 8750 class, built from the late 1930's onwards. The Bachmann model captures the look of these popular tank engines whose steaming capacity and smooth riding enabled them to undertake heavy shunting duties or handle pick-up goods trains along the mainlines. A couple of panniers would be at home on any GWR or BR(W) layout.

BR 9759 is supplied with a factory fitted DCC decoder, ready for service on your DCC layout. This model carries the BR plain black livery with the later style of crest.

Bachmanns excellent model of the GWR 57xx class pannier tank in the post-WW2 Hawksworth era livery of classic Great Western green with letters G W R on the side tank.

New Re-Tooled Model for 2008. Factory Fitted DCC Decoder

The popular BR class 4MT 4-6-0 is scheduled for an overhaul! One of the first of the current generation highly detailed OO model locomtives, this model will be produced using completely new tooling, bringing the model into line with the standards set by Bachmanns' newest models. The chassis has been updated to current specifications, including DCC options while the bodyshell will feature dozens of separately fitted parts.

75033 will be equiped with a single chimney and BR2 type tender and painted in the BR lined black mixed traffic livery.

A superbly detailed model of the BR 4MT 2-6-0 with separately fitted pipe runs, detailed cab interior, detailed tender interior coal space and removable coal load. Careful design of the chassis has allowed the daylight visible below the running board to be reproduced while accomodating a capable motor inside the boiler to provide power for prototypical length trains. An additional optional detail pack is supplied containing cab side doors, brake pull rod assembly, front steps and cylinder drain pipes.

This is the first ready to run model of the BR standard 4 2-6-0 mogul, a design which followed on from the LMS 4MT.

D5211 represents the early body styling of these BR Derby built type 2 locomotives and carries the oruginal BR green livery from the 1960's era.

Supplied with a factory fitted DCC decoder this superb model of the rebuilt class 37 locomotive is ready for service on your DCC layout.

Many of the highly reliable class 37's were rebuilt, with additional equipement or weight to provide power more closely tailored to the trains the locomotives were used on. Fitted with a powerful centrally mounted motor driving both bogies the Bachmann model can duplicate the heavy haulage ability of these locomotives.

37672 carries the BR Railfreight triple-grey livery with Transrail ownership markings applied during the privatisation of Brirains railways during the 1990's.

Supplied factory fitted with a DCC decoder ready for DCC operation this split headcode version of the class 37 carries the EWS maroon and gold livery and City of Worcester etched nameplates.

The bodyshell is finely detailed with excellent side and curved cantrail grille mouldings. Body, bonnet and roof hatches, panels, sand box fillers and hand/foot recesses are crisply moulded with fine joint lines. Hinge and securing bolts have been well defined and a seperate main cooling fan is fitted below a see-through roof grille. Additional detailing parts are supplied including etched radiator frost screens, dummy screw coupling, multiple working jumper cables and mini-plows.

Complete with a factory fitted DCC decoder this split-box class 40 is supplied ready for DCC operation.

40129 represents one of the large English Electric type 4, or class 40 locomotives fitted with 4-character headcode boxes divided either side of the central communicating doors. Bachmann's powerful motor and heavy chassis helps portray this model the power and stately presence of these locomotives.

The popular Warship class diesel hydraulic locomotive returns, in a model now ready for DCC operation with a factory fitted on board decoder. A powerful motor drives all four axles of this distinctive model.

Bachmann's superb Freightliner class 57 complete with a factory fitted DCC decoder, ready for service on any DCC or conventional DC control layout.

Featuring a powerful skew wound motor fitted with twin flywheels with drive arranged to all six axles and a heavy diecast chassis block. The bodyshell is accurately detailed as an early type 57, as rebuilt for Freightliner, retaining many of the characteristic features of the original class 47 bodyshell.

This locomotive is supplied with a factory installed DCC decoder, ready for service on DCC or conventional DC controlled layouts.

Bachmann have produced an excellent model of the latest low-emission engine version of the class 66 locomotives. There are several external detail differences between these locomotives and the original design, including an extra bodyside door and revised underframe equipment.

The Bachmann model retained the powerful motor with drive to all six axles. The addition of the DCC decoder allows DCC control of the lighting, automatically switching the white amnd red lights when a direction change is selected.

66 412 carries the standard DRS compass logo livery.
