The Bristol LS coach returns in the popular red and cream Bristol Greyhound livery of the 1960's. This model carries fleet number 2100 and registration THY 952, HY being a Bristol registration mark. The coach carries a Bath City Tour route description, surely a very comfortable way to view the famous Georgian city!

The Bristol LS single-deck bus in the green with cream stripe livery. This model depicts one of these classic buses operating on the many cross-country routes from Bath into Somerset and Wiltshire, in this case route 59 to Paulton. Registration PHW 920 fleet number 2830.

The start of a new well requested fleet sees our Bristol VR III registration number VPR 485S, in the colours of Damory coaches' part of Wilts and Dorset. Fleet number 5062 operates route 314 to Salisbury, this much seen Dorset livery is sure to prove popular.

A detailed model of the Alexander Y body coach in operation with the Hants and Dorset division of the National company. Painted in a red and white scheme, this model represents fleet number 3096, registration AJA 146B on a long-distance service to Manchester.

The utility double decker was a product developed during the Second World War to counter the growing shortage of double deck buses. Most bus production had been halted or highly restricted during the early war years, with bus chassis manufactures and body builders being instead involved in production of essential military equipment. However it soon became clear that the combination of enemy action, aging vehicles, and shortages of parts was affecting operators ability to maintain services. The Ministry of Supply thus allowed selected manufactures, including Guy, Bristol, Daimler and Leyland to produce bus chassis', while a limited number of bodybuilders were allowed to build bodies to a highly restrictive specification. These bodies were built using un-seasoned timber, limited interior paneling, and the design also omitted any non essential radiussed sections, allowing a saving in scarce materials and labour time. From the passengers point of view, comfort wasn't a high priority, as most of the vehicles were supplied with rather basic wooden slated seats. The Ministry allocated these buses to operators on a need to have bases, with various combinations of body and chassis types appearing in many urban fleets across the country.

To add to the holiday atmosphere Southern Vectis used this stylish livery to good effect on its Paramount coaches. Fleet number 320, registered TJI 7520, this Leyland coach features the Island logo on the rear and a Sun Island destination on the front.

This very attractive model of the Plaxton Paramount 3500 coach is bound to be popular with both West Country and First bus collectors. Coach details Route X96. Destination Taunton. Fleet no 8015 and Reg no RIL1069.

In this model the well respected Hants & Dorset fleet is featured on a  Leyland Titan in all its glory. Registered LJ 2941, fleet number E354 is on route to Eastleigh and displays adverts for Coate's Cider. 

Leyland Olympian in the Wilts and Dorset Red/White/Black paint scheme. Model features seperately moulded wing mirrors, drivers newspaper and ticket machine. Lettering is very finely printed and readable. Destination blind shows route 150 to Swanage.

The classic Bristol RELH coaches remained in service with Badgerline in Somerset into the 1990's, working routes from Wells.

Although well-known as buses, the Bristol RE could also be ordered in a coach configuration. Softer springing, a different differential and back axle plus coach seats make this version a very comfortable vehicle for the passengers.
Bristol Omnibus painted their RE coahes in this attractive green and cream livery, complemented with the addition of the new coach style wheel hubs. Fleet number 2070, registration GHY 132K is operating route 184 to Frome, one of the Bristol company's many long distance country routes into Somerset.

Plymouth Citybus has made the Dennis Dart its standard "Midi Bus" type single deck vehicle since the early 1990's.Its first deliveries took place during 1992 and the following three years saw some thirty 9.8 metre step entrance models enter the fleet. Since 1996 the 'SLF' type 10.7 metre single door Plaxton Pointer bodied Dart has become the new standard with some 25 examples currently operating with the Company.

Closed Rear. Old buses like the TD1 were brought back into use when heavy bombing destroyed most of Plymouth's buses. Registered DR 7405, fleet number 124, on route to the Theatre.

There is something about Bristol built vehicles in their "home" territory of the Bristol Omnibus Company and this beautiful model captures the feel of the prototype well. The version modelled L8550 (440FHW) is a 'country bus' (fitted with doors on the rear entrance) seen operating on route 709 into Swindon

Bristol Lodeka Wilts & Dorset, Wilts & Dorset Motor Services Ltd started business in 1915, acquired Salisbury and District Motor Services and in 1931 came under the control of the Tilling & British Automobile Traction Ltd. and the Southern Railway, Wilts & Dorset passed along with Hants & Dorset to the Tilling Groupon the dissolution of TBAT in 1942 model length 108mm

Exeter City Transport bought five batches of Leyland PD2A buses between April 1961 and October 1965. fleet number 83, registration 483 EFG route 5 Crediton which was new in May 1962. on the 22 mile long country route from Exmouth to Crediton via Woodbury and Exeter.

Wright Solar Fusion First Bath, Bath, These buses are used on the service between the centre of Bath and the Bath University campus at Claverton.In 1997, using a mixture of Dennis Darts, Lances and Daf Icarus. The company became the "Bright Orange" in 1998.In 2002 the first 'bendy buses' were introduced, and then in 2005 the company took delivery of nine new B7's bringing the fleet to 12, providing 1400 seats per hour.A new livery followed which is truly 'bright orange'

'OK Motor Services' Between 1957 and 1967 Southdown took delivery of 285 Northern counties bodied Leyland PD3's . Affectionately known as Queen Mary's , most had long and interesting lives extending well beyond their period with Southdown. 

Wilts & Dorset introduced three of these Volvo/Plaxton coaches on the X33 Bournemouth - Ringwood - Southampton route in March 2004. the coaches had previously been operated by the Oxford Bus Company another Go-Ahead subsidiary, fleet number 3233 (R807 NUD)shows the special livery, designed by RayStenning of Best Impressions, carried by these coaches to advertise the service.

Z Cars of Bristol started as a taxi company in the early 1960's. Recently German built Neoplan coaches have been added to the fleet to operate holiday programmes in the UK and Europe. 

MCW Metrobus Reading Buses/London Express, Reading Buses, one of only seventeen remaining Municipally owned Bus Company's in the UK, has a proud history of providing public transport for the population of Reading and the surrounding area.It celebrated its Centenary in 2001.Each weekday over 31,000 men, women and children make a return trip to and from Reading on their buses

This set is of  a double decker and a small bus in a superb boxed set in the distinctive Tamar Livery based in Plymouth, Devon 

This is UK1024 carrying the Park & Ride livery of Stagecoach Devon .This model represents Stagecoach Devon 17002 (S802 BWC). This bus was originally TA2 in London and is the sister to TA1, the first production Dennis Trident delivered to a UK bus operator After leaving London, 17002 was put into Stagecoach livery and entered service in Torbay for the summer season along with others from the same batch. Following refurbishment, Stagecoach 17002 was one of the 5 ex Leyton Garage London Tridents to be put onto Exeter’s Honiton Road Park & Ride service. Devon Design & Print produced this distinctive Yellow and Blue livery which has been used to brand all three of Exeter’s Park & Ride services. The introduction of these low-floor, larger capacity buses enabled the Honiton Road Park & Ride become one of the fastest growing bus services in the UK in 2005.

Plymouth Citybus MPD 205 was introduced into the fleet in 2003, specifically for use on the route 25A & 25B Park and Ride services that the Company provided on behalf of Plymouth City Council.These routes linked the Park and Ride site at Milehouse with the Railway Station, City Centre and the historic Barbican and Hoe areas, all of which attract large numbers of visitors from around the world. These vehicles carried route branding and were painted in a dedicated livery of green and yellow in order to emphasis their importance to the public transport scene in the City.

Since the Eden Project opened in 2001 it has welcomed over 8 million people and they all have to be driven around the huge site quickly, comfortably and in an environmentally friendly manner by Mercedes-Benz Citaro G buses. The Eden Project is owned by the Eden Trust. It is more than just a green theme park. Eden is about connecting plants, people and places. It is a living demonstration of regeneration and aims to reconnect people with their environments locally and globally. The bus is decorated with all icons of the park, including the Humid Tropics Biome, plants, flowers, etc. CN02 EDN is recreated as running on route 5, from the Eden Project to the Park & Ride stops in the Apple, Banana, Lime, Plum, Strawberry, Melon, Cherry, Lemon and Mango zones. The light orange and grey paint scheme is decorated with photographs from around the eden project complex and a representation of the eden projects huge and distictive environment domes which permit artificial tropical conditions to be maintained with minimal energy consumption.

The Bedford SB Chassis and Duple Vega Coach body proved another winner for the manufactures when introduced in the mid 1950’s; This coach with around 40 seats was in many ways a replacement for the earlier OB Coach. Many operators welcomed the higher capacity vehicles during the late 1950's.

The RE chassis range was introduced by Bristol in 1962 and came in variations suitable for both bus and longer distance coach operations, the RELH (Rear Engine Long High floor) version was designed specifically for long distance coach services it's high floor design allowed space for under floor luggage lockers while it's panoramic windows offered passengers of the passing landscape.
