Vanguard 1/43 Ford Transit Van Castrol (VA06619) The introduction of the Transit in 1965 represented a landmark in small commercial vehicle design, as passenger car refinements were now available to commercial drivers. The Transit introduced the concept that vans could be easy and comfortable to drive, economical and versatile. The distinctive engine nose design led to it being referred to as The Little Pig.
