Corgi 1/43 Triumph Spitfire MKII (VA06700)
The Triumph Spitfire 4 MkI was introduced in October 1962, and was based on the Triumph
Herald chassis and running gear. The 1147 cc included several subtle modifications,
including the fitment of twin SU carburettors and a modified cylinder head, which pushed
the power output from 39 BHP to 63 BHP. The MkII which this model is based on was launched
in 1964 with a detachable hardtop and minor styling revisions to the front of the car and
the interior.
