Corgi 1/43 Vauxhall Cresta Armstrong 500 1960 F.Coad (Limited Edition) (VA06405)
The Armstrong 500 mile race at Phillip Island, Victoria was limited to standard production
saloons built or assembled in Australia. Frank Coad and John Roxburgh took victory in their
Vauxhall Cresta on November 20th 1960. The Cresta was the only Vauxhall entered in a field
of 45 cars and although there was no award for the outright winner, the Cresta was the
first car of all classes to complete the required 167 laps.
