Billings 1/22 Zeeschouw 1914 Dutch Yacht Complete kit (B532)


A Dutch yacht from 1914. These vessels were originally designed to meet the need for less expensive fishing boats. As the fishing industry experienced difficult times on the Zuider Zee, the ships in use at the time were too expensive both to purchase and to maintain.

The kit includes laser cut frames for keel & bulkheads, and exotic wood strip for hull planking. Also included is the wooden deck planking, masts and spars, metal and wooden fittings, and pre-sewn sail material and silk flag. The instruction booklet is very detailed, taking you through every step of construction.

Scale 1:22, Length: 500mm.
