Corgi 1/50 Panther Tank Ausf A German 4th Company 2nd SS Panzer Regiment (Black 424) (US60204)


Sergeant Ernst Barkmann was in command of Black 424 during his famous stand in the bocage in July, 1944. Barkmann was a Panther ace with more than 25 victories over US Army Shermans, all scored shortly after the Normandy landings. He was awarded the Knight s Cross for his actions. His Panther is in the usual panzer yellow, olive green and red brown color scheme common in Normandy at that time
