Metropolitan & LT OO gauge

Met E class 0-4-4T including the popular preserved MET No.1 and wagons to recreate the engineering trains that kept the E class 0-4-4 tanks employed after electrification.
Very few Metropolitan locomotives survive, having been replaced by former GWR panniers. MET No.1 is preserved by the Buckinghamshire Railway Society, normally based at the former Metropolitan Railway station of Quainton Road near Aylesbury the brightly Metropolitan red locomotive has been a popular visitor to many heritage railway galas. The models will be available in as preserved Metropolitan Railway and London Transport liveries.
Rapido Trains OO 967022 Metropolitan Railway 5 Plank Open Wagon 544 Grey MET Single Side Brake
This model of Metropolitan Railway wagon 544 is being produced to match with the Rapido Trans model of Metropolitan Railway class E 0-4-4T No.1 using the new Rapido RCH 1907 type 5 plank wagon tooling.The Metropolitan Railway operated it's own fleet of goods wagons, providing wagons to customers at the company's stations in the same way as the other mainline railway companies. MET wagons could arrive at any station on Britains' railway network until the formation of London Transport in the 1930s, when Metropolitan goods service was taken over by the LNER. The 5 plank open wagon was one of the most common general merchandise wagon types operated by the railway companies.
