Graham Farish N 373-236 TSL Ploybulk Bulk Grain Bogie Hopper Wagon Polybulk Lettering
A new and detailed model of the TSL Polybulk bulk grain hopper wagons.
The bulbous shape of these hoppers allows grain to be loaded up to the maximum loaded weight by making the best use of the loading gauge. These wagons are also used for other bulk loads where weather protection is needed. The hoppers are self-clearing, greatly reducing the time and work needed in loading and unloading.
This design was one of the first of the polybulk type wagons used in the UK, deployed on grain and china clay traffic.
This wagon is painted in the plain scheme with the Polybulk name applied by the leasing company, so the wagon could easily be used on any bulk traffic.
