An excellent new model of the BR standard diagram 1/208 box van. Thousands of these planked body van were built in the 1950s and many were still in service in the 1980s. This model carries the railfreight grey livery of the 1980s era, but is marked with a light blue stripe and lettered as an engineers stores van. These vans were used to transport spare parts and equipment around the BR network.
