The modern air-braked wagons seen on Britains railways today can be found in the Modern Era section. | Graham Farish N BR 12-Ton Margarine Box Van Bauxite Livery (373-701A) An excellent new model of the BR standard diagram 1/208 box van. Thousands of these planked body van were built in the 1950s and many were still in service in the 1980s. This model is painted in the bauxite livery used on vacuum brake equiped vehicles and is lettered for margarine traffic. This lettering was used to keep specific vehicles clean and ensure the van was returned empty for reloading.
