Rhenania 1/1250 GLR7aT SS Shieldhall, ex-Glasgow Corporation Passenger & Sludge Carrier 2012 Titanic Black Hull
Shieldhall with a black hull is finely modelled in metal as the Southampton's museum ship in 2012, carrying the same colours as the Titanic. The ship is operated entirely by steam and still taking the public to sea.This is a second-hand model in excellent condition, see photograph.
Shieldhall is preserved and open to the public. She was unusual in that she was fitted with a passenger saloon when built to take the public on trips out to sea whilst she was dumping Glasgow's sewage. She was retired from service when the EU banned the practice of dumping at sea.
