A 1/1250 scale metal model of Dawn Princess (1988-93) of Princess Cruises modelled by CM Miniaturen.

Dawn Princess ex- Fairwind of Sitmar cruises joined P&O when Sitmar was taken over in 1988. The P&O cruise ship brand for US cruises was Princess Cruises and so the former Cunard liner Sylvania that had been built by John Brown as the last of the four Saxonia sisters continued cruising. In 1993 she was sold to V-ships and chartered to Phoenix Reisen as Albatros where she continued until her scrapping at Alang in 2004.
