Navis Neptun 1/1250 1310B USS Ticonderoga, a "Long-Hulled" Essex class Carrier, 1945

A 1/1250 scale second-hand model of USS Ticonderoga CV. 14 by Navis Neptun 1310B. The model is in good condition with some aircraft on deck.

Some Essex class had their hulls lenghthened by 8ft to give a better arc of fire for the bow AA weapons. The flight deck was also shortened slightly. Ticoneroga has a cut-out on the port side of the flight deck for an additional lift that was never fitted.
