Navis Neptun 1211 IJN Unryu, the last type of Aircraft Carrier built by Japan in WW2 1/1250
A 1/1250 scale secondhand model of IJNS Unryu a Japanese aircraft carrier built during WW2. This model is an early production model but is in good condition and has a number of aircraft on deck.
Only Unryu and Katsuragi of this type were completed before the armistice but they were not used operationally.
Effectively improved Soryus, the four ships differed in details and engines from each other . There were no aircraft available for the two that were finished and no fuel to put to sea, so they were sitting targets for american bombers. Katsuragi was used after the war on repatriation voyages before scrapping.
