Navis Neptun 1204 IJN Fuso, a WW1 Battleship re-fitted to serve in WW2 1/1250
A 1/1250 scale model of IJNS Fuso by Navis Neptun 1204. Fuso was the largest and most powerful battleship in the world on completion during WW1. She was re-built before WW2 with a lengthened hull and "pagoda" bridge, as modelled here.
Fuso was sunk with her sister, Yamashiro, in the battle of Suriagao Straight by a fleet of old American battleships, many of whom were survivors of the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941.
