France Marine Nationale to WW2

A 1/1250 scale metal waterline model of the French heavy cruiser Foch in 1939 by Neptun 1431.

Dunkerque was the first of a pair ofsmall fast battleships built by the French to counter the threat of the German pocket battleships. John's Model Shipyard has made a 3D printed kit to make into a 1/1200 scale model of Dunkerque. The kit is of Dunkerque at the outbreak of WW2 when the taller, curved funnel cap had been fitted to the ship.

Strasbourg is a resin, 3-D printed kit to make a 1/1200 scale model of the French fast battleship. With their eight 340mm (13.4 inch)main guns mounted in two quadruple gun turrets forward of the bridge and high turn of speed, the Strasbourg and Dunkerque are often referred to as battlecruisers. The hull and superstructure are printed in one piece and gun turrets (supplied) and masts and spars (not supplied) need to be fitted and the whole painted to complete the model. This kit is supplied by John's Model Shipyard, No. MN102.

Aigle  was the name ship of this class of French destroyers. The kit  is designed and 3D printed by John's Model Shipyard MN503.

A 1/1250 scale metal model of the French submarine, Pegase, of the first batch of Redoutable-class from 1930. Pegasse was in the far east during WW2 and paid off in Saigon in 1941 and was scrapped there. Pegase is modelled in green camouflage. Pascal & Persee of this class are also available from Antics.

A 1/1250 scale metal model of Presee, a French Redoutable-class first-class submarine in 1932 when she carried a two-tone grey paint scheme. Persee is also available from Antics in camouflage green. Persee was sunk in late 1940 during Allied attacks on French colonial posessions.

A 1/1250 scale metal model , painted green (a WW2 camouflage scheme) of the French submarine, Persee in 1939-40. Persee was in French Colonial Service when she was sunk by the Allies in 1940.

Koenig Wilhelm is a central battery ironclad from 1869 made by WDS in his Aquarius range, WDS AQ5. This metal 1/1250 scale waterline model has a full set of sails and is fully assembled and painted.

Le Gladiateur is a 1/1250 scale waterline model of a 74 gun two deck ship of the line from the mid to late 18th Century by Aquarius WDS AQ001. This model will be made to order only by WDS in Germany and you should allow about 3 months for Antics to supply the model.
