Trident 1/1250 T1306 SMS Novara, Austro-Hungarian scout cruiser, 1917
A secondhand model in very good condition, painted light grey.
This model is a much better casting than the other two models of cruisers from this class, approaching the detail of Navis N models
All three members of this class have been modelled by Trident and have come from the same collection here.
These cruisers were intended for hit and run actions with high speed, good protection and light guns only (main armament 3.9" to save weight). By 1917, they carried a high speed launch and were equipped for minelaying and these features are modelled.
