ViTrains OO BR 37 156 Class 37/0 British Steel Hunterston BR Engineer's Dutch livery (V2026)

This model introduces the newly-tooled bodyshell to represent the numerous class 37/0’s with the later cut away buffer fairing.

Powered by a centrally mounted motor with flywheels in a diecast chassis drives two axles on each bogie through helical reduction gears. The bodyshell has been produced from completely new tooling designed by ex-Lima engineers. This shows every sign of being a top-notch model, combining the latest technology with decades of model manufacturing experience. Accurately reproduced tumblehome, bonnet shaping and end taper are complemented with flush glazing, etched windscreen wipers, etched roof fan grilles and finely moulded bodyside grille and panel detailing.

This model carries the BR engineering departments grey and yellow livery.

Remember Antics price includes UK delivery of your model locomotive.

The large red-backed nameplates betray this locomotives history as one of Motherwell’s dedicated pool of EE Type 3’s that were used to convey iron ore from Hunterston to Ravenscraig steel works during the late 1980s. It was absorbed into the civil engineers fleet at the start of the following decade and was repainted in the well liked ‘Dutch’ colour scheme, while managing at the same time to retain its nameplates.
