A new and detailed model of the Network Rail MRA side tip ballast and spoil wagons. Supplied as a pack of 5 wagons, forming one 'set'.
This set will be painted in the engineers yellow livery.

Side tipping wagons have been used in construction since the earliest days of railways. These modern, high capacity wagons run in sets, with their own on-board powerpacks to operate the hydraulic tipping mechanisms.

Side tip wagons are used to dump material alongside a line of railway track. This can be ballast to renew the track formation of a parallel line or spoil, material including soil and rock removed from a construction site.
