A classic branch line train featuring a small 0-4-2 tank engine of the GWR 48xx/14xx class with an auto trailer coach.

The auto trailer provided a cab from which the driver could control the locomotive as it pushed the coach, allowing the train to be operated more efficiently. The locomotive was powerful enough to haul or propel the train at a good speed when needed, and to haul a few wagons or an extra coach when required.
