Promodeller Video Build Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk.IX DVD (19)

Tamiyas' excellent model of the famous Mk.IX Spitfire is fully explored in this video build DVD which shows the kits being assembled from the box to presentation. 7 sections of video, totally 210 minutes cover the build of this kit, with painting and weathering of the parts as the aircraft is built. Specific setions focus on the cockpit interior sub-assembly and the build of the of the highly detailed Merlin 60 engine. Assembly of the airframe is not left out, but this large-scale kit features many optional and removable cowls, allowing the engine to be displayed to advantage.

The model is finished with a guide to masking and free-hand camoflague application, reflecting the  many fighters painted on operational airfields, completing the model with decals and front-line action weathering.
