Mamod and Wilesco steam engines are powered by solid fuel tablets and are very safe when used sensibly. Using distilled (or rain) water is a good idea to prevent scaling. Delivery will usually be made within 7 - 10 days. We won't charge the item until stock is assured.

This model was influenced by the style of the American Mercer Raceboat & Stutz Bearcat of the early 1900s. Solid brass boiler with nickel plated fire box. Diecast spoked wheels accent the styled metal fenders. Drive belts are powered by a twin grooved pulley connected to the drive shaft.
The Mamod Steam Roadster complete kit is ready to build, with all the materials and parts supplied to assemble from a full and thoughtful instructions supplied, requiring the use of a few simple hand tools. Approximately 5-6 hours to assemble. No soldering, filing or drilling required. Thats already done for you.
