The Mamod SP2 starter steam engine features a brass boiler equipped with glass water gauge and safety valve. The firebox is constructed of metal with a chrome finish. The brass piston/cylinder and flywheel assembly are mounted on top of boiler.

One of the first in a long range of live steam models produced by Mamod. Ideal for demonstrating the principles of steam to enthuastic youngsters or oldsters at home or in the classroom. It's one of those "Let Dad show you" and then watch and wait
