Second only to the Steam Traction Engine in popularity, this is a classic steam roller at its best! The SR1A Steam Roller is a superbly engineered model of an early steam roller used in the early part of the 19th century for road construction.It is a working steam model with painted brass boiler containing a water gauge, safety valve, pull chain steam whistle and reversing lever. The front chassis is steerable with included steering rod. Brass piston and cylinder power the flywheel that drives the belt to the rear wheel. Exhaust steam is fed to the chimney for a realistic sound.All complete and ready to go as a fuel tablet is included. You do need water!
