Mamod and Wilesco steam engines are powered by solid fuel tablets and are very safe when used sensibly. Using distilled (or rain) water is a good idea to prevent scaling. Delivery will usually be made within 7 - 10 days. We won't charge the item until stock is assured.

The TE1AB model is a good copy of the original, in days gone by they were a portable powerhouse on the land as well as in the towns. The Mamod TE1AB is of highly detailed metal construction with a polished brass boiler, water level gauge, safety valve, working steam whistle and reversing lever. Supplied complete with removable red and white canopy and steering extension rod. The brown spoked diecast flywheel runs a drive belt connected to the rear wheel. Exhaust steam is vented to the chimney for a realistic sound
