In the first world war De Havilland designed 2-bay biplane 'pusher' configured fighter - among the first purpose-built pursuit aeroplanes; it played a major role in ending the 'Fokker Scourge' of 1915. Kit has fine exterior detail with subtle fabric-on-frame texture, well detailed cockpit and radial engine, rigging diagram and film windscreen. Decals and painting reference for 4 Royal Flying Corps aircraft stationed in France: 7907, 'B' Flight, Capt Aizelwood, No 32 Squadron, September 1916; 6015, CO, Major Lionel Rees, No 32 Squadron, July 1916; 7851, 'C' Flight, 2nd Lt Wagner, No 32 Squadron, January 1917; and 7925, 'C' Flight, 2nd Lt Hallam, No 29 Squadron, November 1916.
