Revell 1/72 EH 101 Merlin HC3 RAF Helicopter (04468)

The EH 101 built by Agusta Westland is one of the latest and most advanced multi-role helicopters and is in operation with the Royal Navy and the RAF as successor to the Sea King. In June 2000 the HC Mk 3 version went into service with the RAF. The Merlin will be used primarily with 28 Squadron at RAF Benson, for troop transport and supply flights and also for battlefield SAR missions. Compared with the Navy version the HC 3 has a rear loading ramp and also has a comprehensive EloKa system as well as FLIR. Its range has been extended enormously by the in-flight refuelling probe. Range: 270 km, loading capacity: 30 fully equipped troops.
