Revell 1/48 04857 Bf 110 G-4 Nightfighter
The Bf 110, a twin-engine Long-Range Escort Fighter flew for the first time on 12 May 1936. Although the Bf 110 did not acquit itself well against its British counterparts during the initial encounters, it continued in service throughout the War without interruption. The G-4 was the first really successful variant and was used for night fighting against the growing Allied bomber offensive over Germany. It was armed with twin or multiple 20 mm canon and four 7.9 mm MG's and was fitted for the first time with the "Lichtenstein" on-board SN-2 radar.
