The Fokker D VII is reputed to be the best German fighter in World War I. The new fighter plane was first used at the front in April 1918 and proved itself in air combat due to its high performance and tremendous manoeuvrability at high altitude. By November 1918 over 700 machines had been delivered. Max. speed 200 km/h.
