The A-7 Corsair was adopted by American air forces at the end of the 60s after this rather clumsy-looking yet imposing aircraft had done sterling service with the US Navy, which used it extensively during the Vietnam war from 1966 onwards. The land version of the A-7 is characterised by advanced navigation electronics and precise attack capability thanks to its wide range for weapons.
