Italeri 1/72 1264 USAF F-117A Stealth Stars & Stripes Fighter Bomber

This aircraft was secretly developed for the U.S. Air Force during the eighties. It became the first airplane built with very special aerodynamic features and materials that make it almost impossible to be detected by radar while attacking enemy objectives. The validity of this Stealth aircraft has been demonstrated during the Gulf war in 1990/91 and during the Balkan conflict in 1999. The Lockheed F-117A is the result of a long and very secret development program, dating back to the early 1970's. The aircraft is a special mission fighter bomber fully capable of being flown worldwide and has inflight refuelling capabilities.
