Academy 1:32 scale plastic model kit of the US Marine Corps McDonnell-Douglas F/A-18D twin-seat Hornet aircraft. These aircraft can be configured for training in the type conversion role or as an all-weather strike fighter. The two-crew configuration allows the flying and sensor/weapon control roles to be split between the pilot and naval flight officer. USMC F/A-18D are operated in night attack and airborne forward air controller roles.
